Sheltering shade adds enjoyment and comfort to outdoor summer activities and gatherings - but how do you put up (and keep up) an umbrella in sand or on grass without lugging along a heavy stand? This heavy-duty stake has a go-thru holder that fits any pole to 1-3/8" diameter. A threaded tension knob with optional-use size-adjuster provides proper fit and prevents rotation. Easy to install - just place tip in sand, soft soil or grass and 'step on it' - large 4" foot-step is also a handle for removing stake from ground and can be used with tie-downs for added hold. In compacted soil, holder can be pounded in with wide hammer or mallet (remove size-adjuster first). 14-gauge (2mm-thick) steel hot-galvanized with rust corrosion resistant finish to last season after season 18" length-overall, 2 lbs.
